Uranus Square Mercury and the Sun

With all the attention on the recent eclipses and the Saturn-Pluto conjunction, Uranus has managed to stay out of the headlines. Mercury and the Sun, however, are squaring this unpredictable energy. Over the next few days, we may notice ourselves and others using words a little more impulsively as we try to bust loose from societal expectations.
We have to remember that Mercury (mind) and the Sun (ego) just received their marching orders from the Saturn-Pluto conjunction. They are on a mission to enact the deep structural transformation that these two outer planets are calling for. Any impulsive actions are simply the signs of a new personal reality emerging. There may be early mistakes and gaffes, but the intention for real change is sincere.
The Moon will be in an opposition to Uranus for a few hours, which will form a T-square to both Mercury and the Sun. This will add emotional tension as we feel compelled to act out in unexpected ways.
Card of the Day: The Page of Pentacles reversed. Well, more reversal energy today. The Page of Pentacles represents a young, but practical person. They have a brand new idea. They are excited about it but need a solid plan in place before taking that first step.
A reversal, however, suggests that we are more inclined to skip that first step and eschew a solid plan in favor of immediate gratification. We want what we want, and we want it yesterday. The message here is to cool our jets just a bit. Mercury square Uranus has itchy feet (and an itchy tongue), but a bit of patience and thoughtfulness is always a good idea.
This card also brings attention to the fact that Mars in Sagittarius is entering a square with Neptune in Pisces. I have seen Mars/Neptune aspects result in physical carelessness and sloppy driving . . . so be on the lookout!
