April Energy for Capricorn

Dear Capricorn,

After a period of feeling battle-weary, you now better understand the part you played in the battle. Perhaps you locked yourself into oppressive financial obligations and now feel as though those items own you. Or maybe you engaged in a power struggle with another person or were one half of a co-dependent relationship. Or maybe you were in a battle with yourself trying to kick a bad habit. This issue affected every aspect of your life, so the resolution will require major changes on every level. You may need to change your residence, end a relationship, take a new job, or all the above. Interestingly, some news regarding a marriage, pregnancy, or exciting creative project fueled this self-examination and desire for change. Perhaps this news somehow inspired you to create a more positive vision of your future and now you want a lifestyle that can support this vision.

The advice is to not wear yourself out by trying to do too much at once. A better approach would be to do what you do best: some careful long-term planning. Through this period of re-evaluation and planning, you hope to release old long held-perspectives on your life so you can be free to make new choices. This is difficult and you may end up delaying making any choices at all…which is just fine. Toward the end of the month, you will be in more of an internal/gestational mode rather than an external/action-oriented mode. Embrace this time in the chrysalis so you can fully integrate any new habits or perspectives and emerge a new person.
