Sun and Moon T-Squares

October 6, 2019

The Moon in pragmatic Capricorn is squaring Venus in its home sign of Libra. We want to smooth over any rough patches in our relationships, but it's challenging to fully empathize with our partners. That said, Libra/Capricorn squares can be highly beneficial because they help cultivate solid relationships forged through a realistic lens. We don't overly romanticize a situation or put anyone on a pedestal. It is a great time for down-to-Earth give-and-take interactions.

There are, however, a few energetic roadblocks. The Libra Sun is in an exact T-square to the nodes of the Moon in Capricorn and Cancer. Issues surrounding fairness within our relationships are butting up against our external societal obligations and our requirements for emotional health. It is an important time to question how our work/life balance is affecting our relationships and emotional security.

The Moon is in a bit of a T-square of its own, making square aspects to Mars opposing Chiron. This underscores the message that we might be arbitrating some issues of relationship equality today.

Daily Tarot: Knight of Pentacles. This card speaks to the need for a deliberate strategy with an eye toward a sustainable future. We may have recently received interesting ideas regarding finances, property, or other material resources (Taurus Uranus opposing Scorpio Mercury). This knight, however, isn't interested in acting on crazy impulses or third-hand information. He wants to know all the facts, understand the lay of the land, and then make wise decisions that will yield dependable results. We have three planets, the Moon, the South Node, and the asteroid Juno in earth energy. This is not the time for taking big risks. This is also an important message for how we approach our interpersonal interactions today. Let's put our triggers aside and listen calmly to what others have to say. Volatility will not get us where we want to go.
