The Saturn Test

The question for the next few days as Mercury and Venus in Libra square off with Saturn and the South Node in Capricorn is "how do I cultivate harmony and radical authenticity at the same time?" At first, they may sound mutually exclusive, but actually, you can't have one without the other. Like a Buddhist kone, the wisdom locked up in this paradox (square aspect). Venus and Mercury in Libra have a tendency to seek superficial peace. To that end, they can fall into the habit of telling people what they want to hear. The result is that our inner peace is sacrificed for the sake of the illusion of outer peace. Saturn isn't having it. It has just emerged from a long period of deep contemplation and is now looking to rebuild new structures with longevity in mind. Pretty lies never withstand the test of time.
Just a random astro PSA: I have seen a lot of people run red lights during this Mars/Neptune opposition. Be extra alert while driving!

Tarot Card of the Day: Queen of Swords, reversed. Sometimes it can feel too difficult to be honest in a way that doesn't deride another person. You may also feel tempted to tell someone what they want or expect to hear. In either case, silence may be the wisest course of action.
