Moon conjunct the South Node

September 8, 2019

Well, the Moon is hanging out in Capricorn today. While the Capricorn Moon conjunct Saturn, Pluto, and the South Node, isn't considered the coziest placement, there is a sense of emotional groundedness that is a welcome respite from the frenetic energy experienced in Sagittarius last week. Today, we might feel a bit more "in flow" with our ongoing Virgo stellium. We just want to get things done and move forward. We should, however, be careful not to be so fixated on the goal that it becomes more important than the energy we are bringing to the present moment. For example, if you are headed out on a hike to take advantage of the lovely weather, it might be easy to fall into taskmaster mode to get your family out the door! This might backfire, put others on edge, and detract from the beautiful day. Relax a bit, and enjoy the ride!

Tarot Card of the Day: 2 of Wands, upright. This card usually represents choices regarding future endeavors. Do you stay with what is known, or do you take a risk and try something new? The Moon in Capricorn is not really a fan of risk because it likes the time-tested approaches. But trying something new is a great way to bypass the tendency to control outcomes. Instead of choosing the trail that you have hiked a thousand times, forge a new path! Enjoy the journey!
