Aquarian ideas come in like lightning bolts. They often don’t make sense, but grab your attention just the same. They need time to penetrate traditional mainstream thinking. An inspiring revolutionary idea that falls on deaf ears today, could become the next big thing in six months.

Aquarius New Moon
She was as distant as
a blue glass galaxy
Winter styled her skin and hair
and her eyes always towards the East
She was not meant for anyone
Those who got too close became mountains of snow
for her to climb and get a better view
Timothy Leary
Aquarian quotes by an Aquarian moon
Think for yourself. Question authority.
If you don’t like what you’re doing, you can always pick your needle and move to another groove.
You’re only as young as the last time you changed your mind.
Admit it. You aren’t like them. You’re not even close. You may occasionally dress yourself up as one of them, watch the same mindless television shows as they do, maybe even eat the same fast food sometimes. But it seems that the more you try to fit in, the more you feel like an outsider, watching the “normal people” as they go about their automatic existences. For every time you say club passwords like “Have a nice day” and “Weather’s awful today, eh?” you yearn inside to say forbidden things like “Tell me something that makes you cry” or “What do you think deja vu is for?” Face it, you even want to talk to that girl in the elevator. But what if that girl in the elevator (and the balding man who walks past your cubicle at work) are thinking the same thing? Who knows what you might learn from taking a chance on conversation with a stranger? Everyone carries a piece of the puzzle. Nobody comes into your life by mere coincidence. Trust your instincts. Do the unexpected. Find the others . . .”
Ritual One
Aquarian Inspiration

Aquarian ideas come in like lightning bolts, often don’t make sense, but grab your attention just the same. They need time to penetrate traditional mainstream thinking. An inspiring revolutionary idea that falls on deaf ears today, could likely become the next big thing in six months.
Spend the few days before, during, and after the New Moon on the lookout for inspiration or a big “aha!” Stay open and alert. Be ready to be surprised.
Later in the day, choose one of these inspired thoughts. Write it down, and let it have room to grow. Let your open awareness be the fuel.
Over the next six months, now until the Aquarian Full Moon, notice if this new idea begins to take shape into something more tangible and useful. Watch the initial Aquarian vision go from something radical to something applicable!

Ritual Two
Aquarian Authenticity

Take three deep breaths, and scan your body. Become fully present. Allow the part of you that has always felt different, strange, awkward, or like a misfit come into your awareness. There might be more than one aspect of yourself that arises, especially if you have strong Aquarian energy in your chart.
Write about these parts of yourself. Describe how they make you feel. Keep this experience close to you, and practice the rebellious act of fully accepting your weirdness. Love it. Find ways to honor it. Give yourself permission to be authentic. Let it have room to express itself through you by making representative art or unleashing your quirkiness when out with friends.
In six months, by the light of the Aquarian Full Moon, celebrate all the ways you’ve grown and become more you.
At the Aquarian Full Moon, use what has developed within you to inspire authentic ways of giving back to community, connecting ideas, and creating a positive feedback loop.

Ritual Three
Aquarian Wishes

Simply wish upon a star. This is can be done individually or as a family.
Start a conversation about wishes:
Which ones are heart-centered?
Which ones stem from greed, fear, or haste?
How can you tell?
What is your wish for humanity?

Aquarian song by an Aquarian ascendant
Starman
by David Bowie
Didn't know what time it was, the lights were low
I leaned back on my radio
Some cat was layin' down some rock 'n' roll
"Lotta soul," he said
Then the loud sound did seem to fade
Came back like a slow voice on a wave of phase
That wasn't no DJ, that was hazy cosmic jive
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it
'Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
I had to phone someone, so I picked on you
Hey, that's far out, so you heard him too
Switch on the TV
We may pick him up on channel two
Look out your window, I can see his light
If we can sparkle, he may land tonight
Don't tell your papa or he'll get us locked up in fright
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it
'Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
Starman waiting in the sky
He'd like to come and meet us
But he thinks he'd blow our minds
There's a starman waiting in the sky
He's told us not to blow it
'Cause he knows it's all worthwhile
He told me
Let the children lose it
Let the children use it
Let all the children boogie
